Making a purchase online is sometimes quite a daunting task. Sometimes we need reassurance that the company is good, or that all of our questions are answered before we take the plunge to make the purchase.

About Our Outdoor Beanbags
Outdoor Beanbags are weather proof – perfect for around the pool or in the garden, take them fishing or camping, or just use them as extra seating in the games room or home theatre… and they are easy to keep clean.
They are made from hard wearing, durable Nylon/Polyester blend fabric with a waterproof layer on the inside. Our Beanbags come in a wide range of colours, which means you can choose one to compliment your existing colour scheme. See here for all our colours.

We have a small range of beanbags in stock, however most of our beanbags are made to order. This helps us to reduce overheads due to keeping a large amount of stock – and it means that you can order exactly what you want, in the style and colour you want. For all beanbags that are made to order, there is a turnaround of four (4) to five (5) weeks from order to delivery of your Outdoor Beanbags.
Unfortunately the logistics of trying to post a filled beanbag would be difficult (and very expensive for you!). As such all of our beanbags will be posted to you folded flat. This keeps postage rates down for our customers.
The polystyrene balls can be purchased from major department stores such as Spotlight, Kmart and Big W. The beans will generally come in 100 litre bags, although some retailers do sell them in smaller quantities.
Each beanbag on our products page will have an estimated amount of beans that will be required to fill your new outdoor beanbag. We give approximate figures as some people like their bean bags nice and full and others like their bean bags soft so they can sink into them.
We recommend when filling your bean bags always put less than the recommended amount in your beanbag, zip it up and pat into shape, sit on it and test it out. If you need more beans then you can add more beans – it is always much easier to add beans than to take some beans out!!
When your bean bags are well used you may notice that they get squishier and they don’t feel as full as they used to be. Over time and regular use the polystyrene balls will compress and you will need to top up your bean bag with some more beans to get it back to the comfort level you like.
Our Outdoor Beanbags are made from a hard wearing, durable and waterproof nylon polyester blend ‘soft canvas’ material. The fabric doesn’t feel like plastic like some of the cheaper outdoor beanbags as the waterproof layer is on the inside of the bag. Every bean bag sold at Outdoor Beanbags includes a flexible inner bag, making it much easier to fill up your beanbags and keep them in shape.
The fabric is colour fasted during manufacturing which helps reduce colour fading. Please keep in mind that the sun in Australia is very harsh and as such there may be some colour fading over a period of time.
Your Outdoor Beanbag is made from a heavy duty water resistant canvas. Whilst it is water resistant and designed for outdoors, we recommend storing your Outdoor Beanbag away from the elements to avoid fading. Your Outdoor Beanbag is not designed to be completely immersed in water.
We recommend cleaning your Outdoor Beanbag regularly if it kept in a dusty area, exposed to sea salt or chlorine. As with any product that is left exposed to chlorine/salt and sun, the product will deteriorate quicker than if it is well cared for and stored properly.
To clean your beanbag, we recommend brushing off any excess dirt / dust before cleaning with a soft scrubbing brush and mild soapy water. Always hose off the soapy water and then allow your outdoor beanbag to dry completely before storing it away.
Storing a wet beanbag or keeping your Outdoor Beanbag in a damp area may allow the growth of mould on your beanbag cover, which can be very difficult to remove.
Yes! We have wholesale pricing for anyone who orders a total of 10 or more beanbags. These can vary in different sizes, styles and colours – you don’t have to order 10 of one bean bag.
If you don’t want 10 beanbags, we will still give a discount for orders of over 5 beanbags – just ask us what we can do for you.
We have supplied wholesale Outdoor Beanbags to several Primary and Secondary Schools, as well as a winery, local council, youth clubs and design businesses.

Do you have a beanbag design or idea that you would love to get made?

All of our beanbags are custom made to order, which means if you want something that is not one of our standard designs, you can design your own bean bag and we can make it!

Shipping & Returns
Yes! We offer free postage for all our customers across Australia for all of our products no matter how little, or how much you order.
If you are not in Australia and would like a price on postage, please send us an email and we can get back to you with an overseas postage price and time frame.
We have a limited range of our Outdoor Beanbags in various colours and styles in stock. These are listed in a separate category called In Stock Now. If you make a purchase from our In Stock Now category, your new outdoor beanbags will be posted with Australia Post (from Perth, WA) within 2 business days of your order confirmation. Delivery times are outside our control, and will depend on your geographical location within Australia and the service of Australia Post as to when you will receive your new beanbags.
If you have purchased an outdoor beanbag from our Custom Made category, your beanbags will be ordered with our supplier the same day as your order is processed. As your beanbag is made to order by our supplier in Bali, Indonesia, it will take approximately 4 weeks to arrive to our office via international air cargo. Once we have received the parcel, we unpack, check and repack into customer orders and post within 2 business days of receiving the parcel. Depending on your geographical location within Australia, the delivery time may take a little longer to receive than a week due to the Australia Post service.

We endeavour to update all customer orders with tracking numbers as soon as we have lodged the parcels at the post office.
Express post can be arranged for an extra fee, prior to submitting an online order – simply contact us to make the arrangements.
We normally use Australia Post for our postage across Australia. We did try another postal service company however we were let down by their service and as such we are sticking with Australia Post at this stage.
All our beanbags are posted with tracking numbers, which means we can check where they are (subject to Australia Posts system being updated).

Warranty Information
At Outdoor Beanbags, we take pride in the quality of our products. We are committed to providing you with beanbag covers that meet your expectations. As an Australian-based business, we are required to abide by Australian Consumer Laws.
What does the warranty cover?
Our warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship of the beanbag covers for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. If you encounter any issues during this warranty period, please reach out to us at sales@outdoorbeanbags.com.au, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
What is not covered by the warranty?
The warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, improper care, or non-compliance with our care instructions. Additionally, please note that extended exposure to salt, chlorine, and sun can degrade the fabric quicker than regular washing and proper storage away from the elements.
What if I have a warranty claim?
If you believe that your beanbag cover has a defect covered under warranty, please contact us at sales@outdoorbeanbags.com.au. We will guide you through the warranty claim process and assist you in resolving the issue.
What happens if my warranty claim is approved?
If your warranty claim is approved, we will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the defective beanbag cover. We strive to resolve warranty claims as quickly as possible to ensure your satisfaction.
How do I make a warranty claim?
To make a warranty claim, please contact us at sales@outdoorbeanbags.com.au. Provide us with your order details, a description of the issue, and any relevant photographs. Our customer support team will guide you through the necessary steps.
What if my warranty has expired?
If your warranty has expired, or if the issue is not covered under warranty, please reach out to us anyway. We value our customers and will do our best to assist you with any concerns you may have.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation regarding our warranty policies. Our goal is to ensure your satisfaction with our beanbag covers. If you have any further questions or need clarification, please don’t hesitate to contact us at sales@outdoorbeanbags.com.au.
Note: This warranty information is in accordance with Australian Consumer Laws.
Here at Outdoor Beanbags, we are happy to replace or refund a product that is faulty from the manufacturer – ie, faults with the fabric or stitching. As such we advise you to check your item thoroughly once you have received it to check for any faults or damage.
If you receive a product that you believe is faulty, please send us an email via contact us and we will advise you how to proceed from there. Please note that contact must be made within 7 days of receiving your item and supporting pictures of the damage will assist in determining the fault.
Should a product be agreed upon as faulty it will be at the purchasers cost to send the item back to Outdoor Beanbags. Once the faulty product has been received, a replacement product will be sent to the purchaser at no additional cost to the purchaser.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept a return or provide a refund if the product has been damaged during use.
We all change our minds sometimes, so if you receive your order and you are not happy with the colour or just simply changed your mind, let us know by sending us an email with your order details.
We will provide you with a return address to send your beanbag/s back, which postage will be at your own cost. Once we have received the beanbag/s back we will refund your order less a restocking fee of $20.
Please note that change of mind returns must be returned in it’s original state, folded flat with both outer and inner bags unused and unfilled.
We will not accept change of mind returns if the item has been used, filled or damaged.
We collect information from you when you place an order.
When ordering on our site, as appropriate, you will be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address and phone number. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.
Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads whilst you are using the internet. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to its users based on their visit to this site and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

We do not take any credit card or financial information from you on our website. Our website directs you to PayPal, which is a secure payment gateway, which is completely separate to our company. We do not receive any financial information from PayPal in relation to the information you provide them for payment of your order.
Do we use cookies?

Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computers hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the sites or service providers systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information.
We use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart and compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors.
